|From Luke Palladino About page|
But do you know about his new restaurant Palladino's on Passyunk? (1934 E. Passyunk Ave (Broad & Passyunk) Philadelphia, PA 19148) I didn't until being invited to the Winter Launch of a fashion magazine called Uomo Moderno. The launch party was held at Palladino's upscale neighborhood bar/restaurant, as Luke sponsored the magazine's fashion show months prior.

Next time, I'd like to do a post on Palladino's menu, but the only thing I sampled during the launch party was the Olive Frittes (from the Bar Classics menu) - Crisp Sicilian olives filled with Gorgonzola and mascarpone cheese, walnuts & sage. My server suggested I pair it with Sgroppino - Prosecco with punzone limonciono. Nice!

The magazine is gorgeous, and the event allowed us to escape the Philly winter for just a moment to enjoy a taste of Italy.
